Mutation Tanker

  So, like I’m over at by buddy Jason’s house (I call him Hason, ya know kinda like I’m clearin’ my throat) and we’re totally thrashin’ out to Chimaira and like barking our freaking brains out. Then, we hear this unbelievable boom and the lights go out. Dude, I almost soild myself. After we’re able to realize we’re not dead and stuff, we run out the backyard and find that a spaceship has crash landed in Jason’s backyard. Well, I thought it was a spaceship but it just ended up being a rock or an asteroid or something like that. And like, I’m creeping up to look at it and Jason – Hason is like, “Stay back dude. We don’t know what the heck that is!!” (This part is censored for the sensitive eyes of the reader, ya know.)

And I’m like, “Look! Look this thing’s glowin’.”

And he’s like, “Man, we’ve got to call the government or something like that… They have to have someone from like Area 51 come down here and look at this thing.”

I like, “Hell, no dude! They’ll just take it away and we’ll never know what it really is! Let’s take it and check it out for ourselves.”

And he’s like, “Like you know anything about space stuff. You totally flunked fifth grade science.”

“Dude, that’s what the internet was made for. All we have to do is Google it.”

So, I pick it up and bang!! It totally throws me back 20 feet like a freaking rocket. And that’s not all I fully knocked thru a tree while I’m flying backwards.

Jason runs up to me and is screaming like a chick at a HIM concert. “Oh, holy crap man! Are you alright? I’m calling 911!”

So, I sit up and I’m totally buggin’ but I feel alright, “Damn, did you see that?” I look at my myself and like I don’t even have a scratch. “Dude, it’s like that Unbreakable movie.” I say.

Jason’s on the ground panting with like tears at the corners of his eyes goin’, “I thought you were dead man. How was I gunna explain this one to my parents – especially after the whole thing with the cat.”

Then, he jumps up and starts running to the space rock. “Jason, where ya goin’?”

He’s like, “My turn Dude! I’m gunna get me some too!” But when he gets the rock its like not glowing anymore and he picks it up and nothin’.

Jason’s been pretty peved about it since and well, he totally won’t talk to me anymore. So, I packed up my bags and headed for Paragon City.

Oh yeah, I like had to change my name ‘cuz no one wants to be saved by a hero named Bob. Since I played the bass in a band, I figured “Axe” would be a cool name. But of course that was already taken. So were all the other cool names I could think of and like I fully had to settle for “A. Grinder” – ya know like “Axe Grinder” but not quite as cool.

Go ahead stare.... Feel better? Never seen anyone with scars before? Sorry... after awhile it gets old and grates on you. Well, don't worry... despite the harsh exterior inside is a compassionate soul. I didn't get these scars from sitting on the sidelines and letting bad things continue to happen to good people. I see these as a badge... a badge of honor. I'm not a hero by design - I'm one by choice. You wont see my flying around the city or jumping tall buildings - I am what I am by hard work and determination. Everyday I wake up and have to convince myself to continue the workouts, continue to push myself to the limit, and continue to take the fight to those who would prey on the innocent. It's my goal, my life, my creed. Bring comfort and peace of mind to a city on the precipice of destruction.

A.Grinder ~ global handle @AlaAtoa has been with the Pack for over 2 years now. Main character that he first brought in was Angry Islander. A. Solace Creed ~ global handle @Earth Creed is one of our newer members to the Pack SG and has been a great person to be around. Always participating in SG events and has already brought in a few of his real life friends who have also been a great addition to the Pack. We are really excited to have him in the SG.
