Late in the evening of November 17th a contingent of Pack members were called into Warburg to investigate happenings within the walled zone. Upon arrival, the zone was in major disarray. The chaos was over-whelming. It was impossible to sort friend from foe; heroes fighting heroes; teams versus teams; villains jumping into the mix just to cause a little more havoc.

Regrouping, the Pack members, consisting of Stargazer, Blk Diamond, Blue Power, Dead Assassin, Brainpain and myself, Offline, tried their best to get a foothold on the opposition. Slowly but surely, they were able to push the forces back and secure the hill, which will be known as “Point Defeat”. It was when we were at our peak that the most devastating blow to our morale happened. Voices from the past whispered to us from over our comm. links. As we battled to maintain control of our position, we were informed that our engagement was unlawful by Super Group charter. Needless to say our jaws hit the floor for within our ranks and assisting in the battles was our Super Group leader!

Without any provocation, the task force was removed from the Pack’s roster. Together we decided to legalize our opposition to the former Pack leaders. There we sat atop the globe in Warburg, morally shattered and physically spent. Talk soon started of forming our own Super Group to oppose the wrong that just happened. Discussions on the name of the new Super Group started with haste and anger. Names such as Anti-Pack and others surfaced due to increased levels of anger and distain for our former teammates. Quietly sitting back and contemplating, Blk Diamond stood and posed a question that would ring in our hearts and souls.

“How can we sit here and think of ways to disgrace a name we worked so hard to build and make known?”

The fallen members looked at one another. Tears were visible under many an eye at hearing the truth ring so deep within their hearts.

“Once again your analytical mind has prevailed here Blk Diamond. What would you suggest?” Stargazer asked.

Folding his arms and scratching his chin in deep thought, he looked up and said, “What about the Rogue Wolves? It keeps with the core of who we are and expresses that we are no longer wanted within the Pack.”

The rest of the team thought deeply of it and slowly began to nod their heads in acceptance of the name. With new resolve and identity they made the Super Group name legal on the 18th of November in the year 2005. Thus the Rogue Wolves were born. The Pack, cleaned their ranks out and, with the help of Shadow Rouge, lead a revolt to exorcize the old troublesome members. Together Offline and Shadow Rouge decided that the Rogue Wolves had earned too much of a reputation and should not, for the safety of the civilians of Paragon City, be disbanded. Appointing Devvil Dog to reconstruct the orders and mission statement of the Rogue Wolves, the old marine and other leaders of the Pack decided. From that point forward, the Rogue Wolves would be the covert operations of the Pack. Performing reconnaissance missions and other classified objectives to gain the advantage on the increasing threat that is Lord Recluse’s army.
